Blackberry Onyx - Rumors about the attraction and Research In Motion (RIM) to plunge into the realm of the tablet PC business increasingly blowing hot. Latest news mentioning, tablet PC's manufacturer is named BlackPad BlackBerry.
RIM is also reportedly ordered 8.9-inch sized screen in a large number of technology companies called Hon Hai. To note, Hon Hai is one of the company's iPhone component suppliers and other Apple products. Inevitably, this news immediately raised speculation that RIM is working on the tablet computer products.
BBLeaks site reported that people in the RIM is not identified, said the Canadian company is developing a tablet computer, code-named BlackPad or Cobalt.
"We got word from one source very close to RIM, said that is true, RIM is working on a tablet computer products. But we do not know the full details of products which are still kept secret," the BBLeaks report, which quoted, Tuesday ( 04/05/2010)
The source simply said, tablet computers will have a more slender physique and thinner than the iPad, and has the functionality and compatibility with BlackBerry OS completely.
Another evidence that reinforces this rumor is the launch of the latest BlackBerry OS version 6.0 which has lots of features to support a touch screen device.
Whether that is true, is still unclear. RIM itself has made no official statement related to these rumors.
